It gives us great joy to announce that the Holy Synod of Bishops of the Orthodox Church in America, elevated our beloved diocesan hierarch to the rank of Archbishop. His Eminence, the Most Reverend MICHAEL, Archbishop of New York and the Diocese of New York and New Jersey.
There will be a celebration for the 5th Anniversary of the consecration of His Eminence, Archbishop Michael, on Saturday, May 9, 2015. The day will begin at 9:30 a.m. with a Hierarchical Divine Liturgy at Saint John the Baptist Orthodox Church in Passaic NJ, and conclude with a 1:00 p.m. celebratory luncheon at “The Brownstone” in Paterson NJ.
